Why choose Surf Hong Kong?
Surf Hong Kong is the only watersports rental shop located in Sai Kung East Country Park. We are one of the foremost watersports centres offering rentals, kayak tours and surf camps led by professional outdoor instructors. We also offer camping gear rentals. What are your store hours?
It depends on the season of business. Typically in Fall, Winter and Spring, we open on weekends or by appointment. In Summer, we open most days.
What items do you rent?
We rent a variety of water sports and camping gear, such as surfboards, SUPs and tents. For more details, Contact Us.
How much notice do you need for a surf lesson?
Surf Hong Kong can put you in touch with professionally certified surfing instructors if you give us a couple of days notice. They may be able to conduct lessons in various locations around Hong Kong.
Summer Adventure Camps
What are Summer Adventure Camps?
The summer camp is about camping in a beautiful and pristine beach – Tai Long Sai Wan, Sai Kung East Country Park. It is a 3 days 2 nights camp based around 3 outdoor adventures – surfing, sea kayaking and canyoning. To know more, visit our page Surf Adventure Camps.
When are the Summer Adventure Camps?
We run kids adventure camps throughout the summer (June through August) and during holidays, in particular long holidays like Easter. The 3-day camps run throughout the week – Monday to Wednesday, or Wednesday to Friday. For camp dates and more information, Contact Us.
I’ve never surfed before. Is that OK?
Definitely! Actually most participants have not had previous surfing experience. Our teaching method for beginners starts from zero. You need to be able to swim and to know you will have an unforgettable experience.
What kinds of activities do you offer?
During the camp, participants will have a chance to experience different outdoor adventures from surfing, sea kayaking and canyoning. We operate on flexible schedule whereby instructors choose from a variety of suitable activities depending on weather and water conditions.
What should I bring to camp?

What ages are appropriate for participating in camps?
We welcome children of all ages and ability. Campers take part in our ranges of activities designed for their age, and are guaranteed to be safe and have fun.
